Cornerstone Construction is the leader for personalized service in the Florida Keys and the surrounding South Florida area since 1988. We build and remodels custom luxury homes. In an effort to help better our environment we include green technology and energy efficient options in every project we undertake. We pride ourself in our pursuit of keeping up with the latest building technology and products. Rest assured that we will use the best and most efficient products needed to complete every job no matter the size.

Our staff is a team of hardworking and experienced individuals. Our project mangers have over twenty years of experience in the construction industry in addition to President John Gilbert Jr.’s forty years of experience. Our foreman work hands on with every aspect of each project to ensure flawless quality. This skilled management team allows us to expand our work force at short notice while still maintaining our superior craftsmanship. Cornerstone has strict standards and we do not subcontract out our construction work.

We perform all of our own concrete forming, steel reinforcement, concrete finishing and truss & roof installation. On top of this our skilled carpenters set windows, hang doors and complete all of the wood trim work on each project. Cornerstone subcontracts out work for electric, plumbing, air-conditioning and other specialty areas. We have a strong rapport with our subcontractors and we have worked along side them for many years.

We work hand in hand with our clients to guarantee that each project is exactly what they are looking for even down to the smallest detail.
